Prepared by the Teaching of Trial and Appellate Advocacy Committee, the video deals with the practical realities that conform every interrogator and defender. The video consists of a series of video vignettes of lifelike deposition excerpts, followed by commentary from participating Fellows, as well as series of panel discussions on various deposition topics.
The videos are divided into two categories: DEPOSITION DISCUSSION VIDEOS and MOCK DEMONSTRATION VIDEOS. The Discussion Only Videos are best utilized for training young litigators when an experienced litigator guides the discussion on a start-stop playback basis rather than simply playing such videos from start to finish. The Mock Demonstration Videos, when combined with the provided resource materials, constitute a pre-packaged "plug and play" training tool requiring very little preparation when used by a law firm or law professor to instruct young lawyers/law students in deposition practice.
